curiouser and curiouser

Callum used to eat toast, and yogurt.

He stopped eating toast about 6 months ago and yogurt hasn't been touched since we moved.

Yesterday, out of the blue, he asked me for toast and ate two slices. A little later he saw Mark eating yogurt and asked for a taste, he ate two pots!

I wonder what suddenly triggered in his head to make him ask for both of these things on one day.

Welcome back! Good to catch up with you! Evan is like me, he'll eat the same thing for weeks on end & then get tired of it for a while. It's always been that way with Ev & yogurt. Sort of like his body craves it for a couple of months off & on. (For me it's ranch flavored Doritos!)

Hi,Naomi, I saw that you moved...good for you and your family! I just wanted to keep you up on what was happening...I am in LA, of course, and we are having our next fundraiser with DSRTF.org (www.dsrtf.org) and Paul McCartney is very interested in being involved as one his very close friends had a baby with DS last year...DSRTF has a scientist who is working with DS and believes he will have a treatment for our kids in 6-8 years that will raise their cognitive level by 10-20%.

Let's keep in touch. My e-mail is:

Christy will love things this week and spit them out the next. Is this a Down syndrome thing, or a five year old thing?
I am hosting the first ever Down sydrome blog carnival tomorrow August 12th, on Cause of Our Joy http://cause-of-our-joy.blogspot.com . If you have a favorite post about Down syndrome to share, please email it to me ASAP, and I'll post it.
Don't worry if you missed this one, we'll be doing this every week on different blogs, so you can join in another time, or host it yourself. I just thought this would be a great opportunity to get to know one another better and spread Down syndrome awareness.
Hope to see you at the carnival!

NOT about this post but since I don't know your email anymore-
I love the pictures you posted a few days ago. Your boys are growing fast and changing so much. Kieran is getting so big. Callum reminds me so much of Max!
Take care
